Antibody tests play an important role in identifying individuals who may have been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and may have developed an adaptive immune response. A physician must issue a prescription in order for an individual to get an antibody blood test. At the hight of the 2020-2021 pandemic, physician’s offices were overwhelmed with patients making appointments with the sole purpose of requesting an antibody test. Innov8ive Group engineered a solution to expedite and streamline this process eliminating the need for an in-person visit to the physicians office.
Virus Test Alert Screens
The patient starts by answering a series of questions about their medical history and providing their payment information. This information is submitted to a network of participating physicians that are available 24/7. A physician reviews the patients information, and if approved, instantly issues a digital prescription lab order to the patient. The patient can then visit any Quest Diagnostic or LabCorp location to get their antibody test. The patients test results are sent back to the patient portal and available for the prescribing physician for review. Since its launch, Virus Test Alert has processed thousands of antibody test prescriptions saving countless hours of in-person visits to a physicians office.
